In other news, the US Marines have begun arming their soldiers with bricks instead of grenades. Research shows that the Taliban would never expect bricks, and would be caught off guard.

Some people are expecting the marines to begin using bricks instead of flashbangs soon, too, as hopefully, afghanni fighters will be so busy wondering "what the fuck is this brick doing here?" that it will have the same overall effect.

Well after my fun vacation I have concluded that Afganistan is a shithole, and it was probably the most unpleasant experience I have encountered in my entire life. I'm not without injury, but at least I'm not dead.

1. Sometimes people who watch lots of anime (see: weaboo) will develop an honest-to-God romantic attachment to a specific character. These people refer to this character as a waifu (in other words, wife + u because the Japanese do that a lot with English words, it was first said by the creepy male teacher in Azumanga*). Kagami Hiiragi** is a common waifu, for what reason, I can only speculate. You called her your queen, which sounds suspiciously similar to me.
