Guidlines for making new threads.

So, when making new threads, please do try to follow the naming format of all the threads I've made. It goes a little something like this: (insert random phrase/title) aka The (insert topic of discussion) Thread. I mean, it's not THAT big a deal, but if the threads are all named like this, everything will look all nice and uniform.

tl;dr version: Name threads like I name mine for the sake of good looks.

For the sake of feeling bad for and wanting to be nice to Andy I'm not going to change his post but only add to it.

1: It is not required or even preferred you name your threads like he names his.
2: In the first post lay out some ground rules, like what to post and what not to post and what the forum is for.
3: Be sure to put the topic in the right forum, if you don't one of the mods will move/delete it.
4: Name your topic according to what's in it, don't just name it something witty.
5: Make sure there isn't a thread that already encompasses your threads topic.

For mods:
If you want to delete a thread, tell why you are doing so in a post in said thread, and lock it for a few days so that the thread's creator will see why you are deleting it.

Hate to burst your'e bubble but alot of people hate this name format. I'm also making this a sticky instead of an announcement, seeing as it needs to stay, and I expanded your description.

To us mods:

if you want to delete a thread, tell why you are doing so in a post in said thread, and lock it for a few days so that the thread's creator will see why you are deleting it
